The 17 Platinum team went undefeated on the first day of competition. On the second day they went 2-1 and won a great challenge match to set up a match in the gold against CVA 17 National eventual winners of the tournament. Great job to both teams.
Tribe’s 15 and 17 Platinum teams have excelled throughout the year placing in the gold division in each of their respected tournaments. Each team has made a run at the championship at each tournament this season, only to fall short at the finish. However this past weekend both teams would not be denied. The 15 and 17 Platinum teams showed tenacity and power by sweeping all of their matches and capturing TRIBE’s first ever tournament championship. Many clubs go years before winning a tournament, and to be able to win not one but two championships in our inaugural season shows great determination and accomplishment to all players and coaches. We are so proud of these teams as they can always say that they where the first in TRIBE’s history to win a championship.
In other news TRIBE placed 11 teams in the gold division this past weekend at the Ft. Lauderdale Invite tournament (17P,17G,17S,16P,16GA,16GC,15P,15G,14P,14G,13P). This is also a first for TRIBE and we would like to congratulate all players and coaches of each team. The 13 Platinum and 17 Gold went all the way to the semis only to fall just points away from the championship. The 16 Platinum team went all the way to the championship and placed second in the tournament. Great job to all teams.

TRIBE had an incredible showing this past weekend at the Regional Bid Championships in Orlando Florida. The Regional Bid tournament allows every club in the state of Florida to compete in their respective age divisions for a chance to win a bid to the Junior National Championships. As a club TRIBE entered the tournament excited about the opportunity to measure ourselves versus the rest of the state and our local area. The results were fantastic. 3 teams qualified for the Junior Olympics: 13 Platinum (3rd Place) and 15 Platinum (2nd place). Our 18 Platinum team placed 4th and Qualified for the 2nd year in a row. The 16 Platinum finished 5th. TRIBE had the best finish of all local clubs in 4 of the 6 age groups we competed in. (U13, U15, U16 & U18).
Our 17 Platinum team placed 5th and played well throughout the tournament giving them the second highest rank in the Tri-County. The 14 Platinum team finished with a great performance in the silver championship match placing 2nd.
Our 17 Gold and 15 Gold Ilysa each made it to the Silver division finals. The 15s won a gold medal and the 17s took home a silver medal.
We are so proud of the hard work and dedication that the coaching staff and players have put forward in making TRIBE the elite club in the area. Thank you all for your support.
Humble Regards,
The Tribe Staff
